Rapid Disaster Assessment Program
The link below is to a video that explains an assessment tool that a neighborhood would use after a major disaster event. The purpose of the program, called RDAP, is to quickly identify homes and individuals who are in need of help from first responders.
Following a disaster event, residents are to take care of themselves and families first, then their immediate neighbors. If able, they then to go to a pre-designated assembly point, which will probably be your church meeting house.
Please watch the video so you are prepared for the first drill/exercise as well as for an actual disaster.
